Our Faculty hosts world-leading research groups working in many areas of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Computer and Earth Sciences. In our research database you will find information on all our research programmes, covering more than 170 different subjects.

Campuses

Research and education in The Faculty of Science and Technology are located in five different campuses, all within walking distance:
The Ångström Laboratory - Mathematics, physics, astronomy material sciences and engineering.
Uppsala Biomedical Centre - Chemistry and biology (also medicine and pharmacy).
The Evolutionary Biology Center - Evolutionary biology.
The Centre for Information Technology - Computer sciences, information technology and scientific computing.
The Geo Centre - Earth sciences.
