Guest lectures or COMPANY VISITS
Come and give a talk about what your line of work is like. You could discuss working in projects, research, development or production, a "case-study", entrepreneurship, patents, quality assurance and regulatory requirements, or a specific product or process. There is surely something of interest to tell prospective engineers and natural scientists.
Do you have the possibility to receive a group of students at your workplace? Why not inviting them on a field trip.
Degree project
All students have to do a degree project during the last term. It consists of a task to be carried out independently by applying the knowledge and skills they have gained during their education. The work can be performed at a company or an authority and is afterwards presented at the University. Do you have any task/problem that can be solved during approximately 20 weeks? Please note that the degree project proposal must be approved by the person responsible at the faculty. During the degree project, the student is eligible for student aid. You can advertise in Uppsala university job database if you have a degree project to offer.
