Biomedical Bioinformatics

Bioinformatics is essential to interpret data from genomics, proteomics and other omics areas. Especially to understand human genetics and the functions of proteins and genes, bioinformatics provides important methodologies. At Uppsala University, we have many research groups that are using bioinformatics to solve important biomedical questions, including understanding gene regulation and genetic variations correlated with human diseases.
